Hand selected berries undergo a cold soak maceration on the skins prior to fermentation. The wine is extracted by a slow vertical pressing followed by aging in 300l new French oak barrels for 12 months.
A richly concentrated wine chock full of blackberry, black raspberry and plum flavors with notes of new leather, black licorice and coffee. This structured wine shows its power accentuated by balsamic qualities that continue through its complex finish.
